Mechanical Technician

JOB PURPOSE:

Install, maintain, and replace mechanical systems throughout the production process with troubleshoot component parts, including (not limit) motors, pumps, conveyors, process components, steam and fittings, and defining root-cause of major and repeated issues. Implementation of PM plan and ensure adhere with schedule.

• Participate in new machinery installation and implement testing to ensure that it operates properly, and trains other plant workers on its use.
• Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all mechanical components in production lines.
• Comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Performing routine inspections of machinery and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Provide technical input to business plans, proposals to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement of PM schedule plan and ensure completion as a target.
• Follow up daily MR’s & WO’s through the ERP system to ensure smooth operation.
• Support section & engineers in achieve MTTR & MTBF targets.
• Assist with commissioning of new equipment / projects.
• Order and maintain appropriate stock of spare parts.

• Mechanical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and components, including their design, function, and repair techniques, is essential for effective troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Technical Problem Solving: The ability to analyze mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions is crucial for minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
• Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations ensures that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe manner, protecting both personnel and equipment.
