Our client is seeking a Flexo Machine Operator to join their dynamic team. The company is a leading producer and distributor of high-quality, eco-friendly, reusable non-woven fabric bags, specializing in branded eco-packaging for supermarkets, footwear, fashion retailers, and corporate promotions.
Job SummaryThe Flexo Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials. The operator ensures the machine runs smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate narrow web flexographic printing machines, including the MPS EP.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired print quality and specifications.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent quality.
- Prepare and mount flexographic printing plates.
- Mix and match inks to meet color specifications.
- Select and prepare substrates for printing.
- Perform regular quality checks on printed materials.
- Ensure color accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct any defects or printing issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on the flexographic printing machine.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs and machine settings.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Complete daily production logs and quality control reports.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Proficiency in color matching and ink mixing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
High school graduate.
