Amazon is a highly data driven company passionate about its customers. In this context it is vital that customers always receive their orders on time and with quality. The processes at the FCs are largely manual involving large numbers of associates. One of the most critical roles is that of a process associate who mentors and guides the associates towards meeting customer expectations by following our standard work practice while keeping safety and quality in mind.
Key Responsibilities- Daily management of shift and administrative management of associates
- Job allocation to associates and monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety
- Monitor status of counts and problem solve queues and responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
- Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
- Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis
- Stand in for Area Manager
At FCD (FC Dock) we are a team of 2 Area Managers, 5 Team Leads and Process Assistants. The FCD team plays a critical role in fulfillment centre operations as the final checkpoint in the outbound process before customer orders leave the building.
Team MissionThe FC Dock team's primary mission is to ensure that customer orders are accurately shipped out on time, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the overall performance of the fulfillment centre. They serve as the crucial bridge between internal fulfillment operations and external delivery networks.
Core Responsibilities- Oversee the final stage of order processing where packages are loaded onto delivery vehicles
- Manage the flow of packages from internal sorting to external carriers
- Coordinate with transportation partners and last mile delivery services
- Ensure all packages are properly labeled, sorted, and staged for the correct carriers
- Conduct final quality checks before shipment departure
- Manage package tracking and documentation
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Ship Dock operations
- Implement corrective actions to meet or exceed performance targets
- Monitor dock efficiency, throughput, and on time departures
- Work closely with Inbound, Outbound, ICQA (Inventory Control & Quality Assurance), and CRET teams
- Coordinate with support functions to maintain safety and operational standards
- Manage labor allocation and shift operations

Regular audits (daily DDD, weekly Gemba/process audits) to identify and resolve bottlenecks
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- 1+ years of Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitoring experience
