The job purpose of Infrastructure Manager is to lead and manage the IT infrastructure Team to ensure the reliable and efficient working of IT Infrastructure services (Servers, Networks, Databases and other IT systems under Infrastructure team domain). The primary goal is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organization’s technology infrastructure and systems to support business operations.
Key Accountabilities- To oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure components to meet the Business demands
- To ensure IT infrastructure meets the relevant regulatory and compliance requirements by applying best practices and implementing necessary security controls
- Provide leadership and guidance to the infrastructure team to perform the day to day activities more efficiently. Team building and enhance the skill of the team members.
- Ensure capacity and scalability requirements of organization’s IT infrastructure meet current and future needs.
- Assure Infrastructure Service availability as per the SLA by monitoring system performance, addressing technical issues and outages, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors for problem resolution
- Address the security and compliance requirements related to IT Infrastructure received from the regulatory authorities
- Develop the skills of the infrastructure team by providing them trainings and knowledge transfer within the team to do their day-to-day task efficiently
- Implement changes in IT infrastructure with minimum disruption to business operation.
- evaluate and implement new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance
- Work with all IT stake holders, auditors and third‑party consultants as appropriate for any IT related issues and audit functions
- Participate in implementation and drill test of Disaster recovery setup
- Assessing the current and future needs of the infrastructure by proper Capacity planning
- Recommend for operation and service enhancements to IT management
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of Infrastructure team
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, in related field.
Work ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
