Database Administrator; DBA

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a DBA, with strong experience in database administration, management, and support in cloud environments.
• Preferable Experience with financial systems and secure handling of financial data.
• Proficiency in managing major database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgre
  
  SQL, particularly in cloud settings.

• In-depth knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Ability to perform database maintenance, migration, and upgrading of database software.
• Skilled in SQL and database query optimization.
• Experience with data encryption and security measures specific to financial data.
• Experience working in the finance sector is highly desirable, as it involves regulatory and compliance understanding.

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining databases in a cloud environment.
• Monitoring database performance, implementing changes, and applying new patches and versions when required.
• Ensuring the security of the company’s database accounts and information.
• Performing data backups and ensuring the integrity of data.
• Working closely with IT project managers, database programmers, and multimedia programmers.
