We are seeking a skilled Digital Platform Specialist to support a football event taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with strong operational, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills who thrives in a dynamic, high-profile sports environment.
Key Responsibilities Platform Management & Maintenance- Oversee day-to-day operations of event-related digital platforms and competition systems
- Manage and monitor digital platforms throughout the tournament lifecycle
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot systems; implement updates, patches, and enhancements
- Ensure technical and functional requirements are met in alignment with event standards
- Collaborate with external suppliers, vendors, and development teams on implementation and issue resolution
- Support system readiness testing, UAT, and venue deployment before and during match days
- Ensure compliance with governance standards, security protocols, and operational guidelines
- Monitor platform performance using analytics tools and dashboards
- Track KPIs including uptime, adoption, engagement, and response times
- Analyze user behavior to enhance user experience and platform effectiveness
- Produce performance reports and dashboards for tournament leadership
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve reliability and scalability
- Liaise with Venue IT teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and integration
- Coordinate with AFC technology teams, product partners, and suppliers
- Work with communications, marketing, accreditation, and operations teams to ensure consistent user experience
- Support user onboarding and training
- Act as a key point of contact for digital platform issues during the event
- Experience in digital platform management, digital operations, or IT systems administration
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise or event-based systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with KPI monitoring, reporting tools, and dashboards
- Experience working with vendors and technology partners
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced event environment
- Experience in sports events or large-scale technology environments is a plus
