We are seeking a skilled Digital Platform Specialist to support a football event taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with strong operational, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills who thrives in a dynamic, high-profile sports environment.

Key Responsibilities Platform Management & Maintenance
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of event-related digital platforms and competition systems
  • Manage and monitor digital platforms throughout the tournament lifecycle
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot systems; implement updates, patches, and enhancements
  • Ensure technical and functional requirements are met in alignment with event standards
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, vendors, and development teams on implementation and issue resolution
  • Support system readiness testing, UAT, and venue deployment before and during match days
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, security protocols, and operational guidelines
Performance & Analytics
  • Monitor platform performance using analytics tools and dashboards
  • Track KPIs including uptime, adoption, engagement, and response times
  • Analyze user behavior to enhance user experience and platform effectiveness
  • Produce performance reports and dashboards for tournament leadership
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve reliability and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with Venue IT teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and integration
  • Coordinate with AFC technology teams, product partners, and suppliers
  • Work with communications, marketing, accreditation, and operations teams to ensure consistent user experience
  • Support user onboarding and training
  • Act as a key point of contact for digital platform issues during the event
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in digital platform management, digital operations, or IT systems administration
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise or event-based systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with KPI monitoring, reporting tools, and dashboards
  • Experience working with vendors and technology partners
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced event environment
  • Experience in sports events or large-scale technology environments is a plus
