We are seeking an experienced Venue Technology Senior Specialist to oversee, manage, and optimize all venue-based technology infrastructure supporting live events, exhibitions, conferences, and large-scale productions. This role ensures seamless integration of event technology systems including AV, IT networks, digital signage, broadcast systems, and smart venue solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with operational event experience, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance technology delivery within fast-paced live environments.

• Oversee all venue technology systems including AV infrastructure, networking, Wi-Fi, digital displays, LED screens, IPTV, and broadcast connectivity.
• Manage integration of event-specific technical requirements with permanent venue systems.
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance during live events.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of technology infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of technical specifications and system configurations.

• Act as the senior technical lead during events, providing escalation support for complex technical issues.
• Coordinate with production teams, show callers, broadcast teams, and IT providers.
• Support hybrid and virtual event technology setups including streaming platforms and remote connectivity.
• Oversee control rooms, media servers, and technical hubs.
• Ensure seamless connectivity for exhibitors, sponsors, and production partners.

• Manage wired and wireless networks within the venue.
• Oversee bandwidth allocation and network security protocols.
• Coordinate temporary internet circuits and data solutions for large-scale events.
• Ensure cybersecurity standards are maintained across event systems.
• Support RFID, ticketing systems, access control, and event apps integration.

• Liaise with AV suppliers, system integrators, broadcast partners, and IT contractors.
• Review technical drawings, power loads, and rigging plans from a technology perspective.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure compliance with venue standards.
• Support client technical meetings and site visits.

• Identify emerging event technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance venue capabilities.
• Support implementation of smart venue solutions including IoT devices, analytics dashboards, and automation systems.
• Analyze data from events to improve future technical planning and capacity.

• Ensure all technical setups comply with safety regulations and venue policies.
• Conduct risk assessments related to power distribution, cabling, and data security.
• Develop contingency plans and backup systems for critical event technology.
• Maintain disaster recovery protocols.

• Assist in budgeting for technology upgrades and maintenance.
• Monitor technology-related operational costs.
• Prepare post-event technical reports highlighting performance and improvement areas.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Audio‑Visual Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in venue technology, live event technical production, or broadcast environments.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems, networking (LAN/WAN), fiber optics, and streaming technologies.
• Experience working in large venues (arenas, convention centers, exhibition halls, cultural venues).
• Familiarity with event control rooms and show operations.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CTS, or equivalent preferred.
