The Data Center & Cloud Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise data center infrastructure and cloud solutions to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability. The role will support hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud), provide expertise in migration strategies, and ensure alignment with business continuity, compliance, and organizational IT objectives.

• Ensure high availability and resilience of data center and cloud platforms.
• Optimize cost, capacity, and performance of cloud and on-premise resources.
• Support disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP).
• Lead migration initiatives from on-premise to cloud or hybrid environments.
• Align infrastructure strategies with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SAMA, ISO, GDPR).
• Drive automation, monitoring, and proactive management of infrastructure.
• Ensure security hardening, patching, and compliance of all infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for effective service delivery.

• Design and implement cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and data center solutions.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, etc.) and cloud providers (Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP, Microsoft or SITE).
• Administer servers, storage (SAN/NAS), backup solutions, and networking in data centers.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Develop and execute migration and modernization strategies (e.g., containers, Kubernetes).
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and reporting dashboards.
• Conduct regular DR drills and prepare recovery runbooks.
• Provide L3 technical support for escalated incidents and problem management.
• Document infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and proactive management of infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, at least 5 years in managing large-scale data center operations
