IT Infrastructure Service Provider

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Service Provider to manage and maintain their critical IT infrastructure components, including data centers, servers, storage systems, virtualization environments, and network systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation, security, and reliability of all IT infrastructure while supporting the client's business objectives and maintaining high standards of performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Center Operations:

• Manage data center facilities and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor and maintain power, cooling, and security systems to ensure the integrity of data center operations.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, including regular testing to ensure preparedness.

Server Management:

• Configure, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual servers to ensure availability and performance.
• Perform patch management, vulnerability scanning, and implement security measures to protect servers.
• Optimize server performance and plan for capacity to meet growing business demands.

Storage Management:

• Oversee the management of storage systems (e.g., SAN, NAS), ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Implement and manage data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical information.
• Ensure compliance with data retention policies and relevant regulations.
• Design and implement virtualization infrastructure to enhance resource efficiency.
• Manage virtual machines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure high availability.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies for virtualized environments.

Network Management:

• Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure reliability and security.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent downtime.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations across the network.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, virtualization, and network systems.
• Strong knowledge of network security and compliance management.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, VMware, Microsoft Certified) are highly desirable.
