Responsibilities
  • Assists to ensure that Food and Beverage activities align with corporate strategy and hotel actions are implemented appropriately.

  • Conduct regular divisional communication meetings and ensure departmental briefings are effective.
  • Deliver brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments.
  • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, following through to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  • Establish rapport with guests to maintain good customer relationships.
  • Ensure that minimum brand standards and all Food and Beverage Essentials are implemented.
  • Respond to consumer audit results and implement relevant changes.
  • Wired to help Work closely with other Outlet Managers in a supportive manner, focusing on overall hotel success.
  • Ensure that Food and Beverage associates work collaboratively with other departments in a teamwork spirit.
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventory checks of all operating equipment and supplies.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of menu items and the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives.
  • Ensure outlet cleanliness and organization at front and back of house.
  • In the absence of Assistant Outlet Manager, conduct daily pre shift briefings on preparation, service and menu.
  • Liaise with kitchen and beverage departments on daily operations and quality control.
  • Perform cashier functions and manage Micros cashiering procedures.
  • Balance cash and credit card charges and remit cash to Front Office Safe.
  • Make necessary checks for specific events or functions.
  • Be a hands on supervisor and present in the Outlet, especially during busy periods.
  • Assist in organizing with Housekeeping to ensure cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including preparing the annual marketing plan and evaluating market trends.
  • Improve productivity levels and manage utility/payroll costs within guidelines.
  • Ensure outlet operates profitably while delivering on the brand promise.
  • Help achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Adhere to all financial record keeping, money handling and licensing regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management and ongoing maintenance of hotel operating equipment.
  • Embrace new technology and equipment to improve productivity.
  • Oversee punctuality and appearance ofərinə Food and Beverage associates.
  • Develop associate skills through training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Encourage associative creativity and recognize their contributions.
  • Ensure adherence to associate rules, fire, hazard safety and security regulations.
  • Process results of the Associate Engagement Survey and implement changes.
  • Knowledgeable in statutory legislation of associate and industrial relations.
  • Exercise responsible management, positively representing the hotel and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
  • Strictly follow rules and regulations concerning fire, hygiene and health and safety.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with industry partners.
  • Respond to changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
  • Attend required training sessions and meetings.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned.
  • Contribute to brand integrity and clarity as a "Brand Ambassador."
