Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and perform consultations in line with Salon guidelines to establish client requirements.
• Understand the pricing details of all hair services and educate clients accordingly during consultations.
• Execute all cutting, colouring, styling and finishing to high standards while providing information about products used.
• Recommend appropriate homecare products to clients during each service session.
• Maintain detailed clients’ service history by recording products used during visits (e.g., hair colour details, treatments).
• Learn and perfect new styles and techniques.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending external and internal educational workshops; review and research publications, internet and social media.
• Attend events outside of our brand to promote the brand externally.
• Achieve service and product revenue targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Take responsibility for building a clientele on a regular basis.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels and assist in the product ordering process by checking existing products and anticipating needs of the hair section.
• Take proper care of tools and equipment.
• Adhere to the standards of sterilization and sanitation as directed by our Salon and Municipality.
• Ensure working areas are kept clean and all equipment and products are used with care.
• Guide clients to their next area after service.
• Reference and abide by the Salon’s Standard Operating Procedures, Policies & Forms Manuals.

• Three (3) years salon stylist experience in an international standard salon.
• Training Certification with L’Oréal or Kerastase is an advantage.
• Must be expert in Ombre and Balayage.
• High energy and flexible; friendly and approachable to clients and staff at all times.
• Commitment to training and progression within the brand.
• Professionalism and a high level of customer service at all times.

• Well-experienced in hair colouring, highlights, hairstyling, hair treatments (Keratin and Collagen) and haircutting.
• Hands-on experience with various colouring techniques.
• Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, such as keratin smoothing.
• Creativity to design and interpret hairstyles.
• Excellent communication, social and customer service skills.
• Delivering results in a high-motivation and fast-paced environment.
• To understand and adhere to company policies & procedures and SOPs; review periodically and ensure compliance.
