ADB SAFEGATE’s functional teams are integral to powering innovation and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.

Safety Engineer is a part of the project team in Saudi Arabia Dammam responsible for implementing and monitoring the project HSE program and ensuring full compliance with client safety requirement and international standards.

• Implement and monitor the Contractor’s Environment, Health & Safety Program.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, client, and aviation safety requirements
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Permit to Work documents, and Safety Plans
• Conduct daily site inspections and documented weekly HSE audits
• Deliver HSE induction and toolbox talks to all personnel
• Support client safety audits and escort safety teams during inspections
• Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and track corrective actions
• Maintain HSE logs, reporting statistics and weekly HSE performance
• Ensure subcontractors’ HSE compliance and training
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure waste management compliance

• Registered Safety Professional with OSH (Ministry of Human Resources) or SCE membership.
• Proven experience as Safety Officer on airports projects or similar industrial/construction projects
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Experience with Aviation / airside safety requirements
• Experience with Risk Assessment preparation and review
• Experience with waste management procedures
• Experience with ISO 45001 / OSHA standards
• Strong knowledge of GACA / ICAO / NFPA / SBC safety standards
• Ability to prepare weekly HSE reports and escort safety inspections
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
