Procurement Engineer - Luxury Hospitality; KSA

A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for a flagship luxury hospitality development in Saudi Arabia.

• Develop and implement project procurement plans in line with master schedule and project budget.
• Prepare tender documents, RFQs, technical and commercial comparisons, and recommendation reports.
• Source, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and long lead items.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and construction teams to align procurement with site requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance, factory inspections, and material submittal approvals.
• Track procurement progress and prepare reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, FIDIC requirements, and company procedures.
• Mitigate procurement risks related to lead time, logistics, and market fluctuations.

• 10+ years total experience in procurement / construction.
• 5+ years experience on large-scale or luxury hospitality projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers and subcontractor markets.
• Experience with contracts, commercial evaluations, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms.
• Familiarity with FIDIC and Saudi market regulations is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English;
  Arabic is an advantage.
