Job Overview

We are currently engaging Saudi Talent for the position of Language Services – Operational to support a large‑scale international football event in Jeddah
.

This role is critical to the success of tournament operations, ensuring smooth multilingual communication between international teams, officials, VIPs, media representatives, and local organizing stakeholders. The position requires a highly professional, composed, and service‑oriented individual who can operate effectively within a fast‑paced live event environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide real‑time on‑site language and communication support
  • Assist with interpretation (informal / operational) and translation requirements
  • Facilitate communication between international delegations and local departments
  • Support players, officials, VIP guests, and stakeholders with language needs
  • Coordinate language services requests across functional areas
  • Assist with written translations where required (briefings, signage, instructions)
  • Support match‑day operations and tournament activities
  • Work closely with Protocol, Accreditation, Media, and Venue Operations teams
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism in all exchanges
  • Respond to urgent/ad‑hoc language‑related operational needs
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Requirements
  • Saudi National (mandatory)
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory)
  • Additional languages highly advantageous
  • Previous experience in events, sports events, hospitality, or operations preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Highly organized and responsive
  • Flexible with shifts, extended hours, weekends, and match days
  • Professional demeanor and presentation
  • Cultural awareness and international stakeholder sensitivity
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in tournaments, international events, or conferences
  • Background in translation, interpretation, guest services, or coordination
  • Experience supporting VIPs, delegations, or executive stakeholders
  • Exposure to live event or venue environments
