A newly established organization in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, currently in the setup phase of our operations. We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Officer to support the establishment of our operational infrastructure and ensure the efficient execution of business processes as we transition into full operations.
Key Responsibilities Setup Phase (Pre-Operational Period)- Support the establishment of the company’s office and warehouse, ensuring all logistical and operational requirements are in place.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with local suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Assist in company registration procedures, licensing, and procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow systems.
- Plan and implement supply chain and logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate with regional or headquarters teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies.
- Contribute to the selection and implementation of operational tools and systems such as ERP, inventory management, or data analytics platforms.
- Oversee logistics, transportation, and warehousing operations to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, order fulfillment, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to support management decision-making.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
- Strong command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, or ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-evolving environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to operational excellence.
- Candidate must currently hold a valid residency permit (Iqama) in Saudi Arabia, as the organization is not able to provide visa sponsorship or residency transfer at this stage.
- Must hold a valid Saudi driving license.
- Must have access to a personal vehicle to support operational and logistics-related tasks when required.
