Job Description Summary
The Director – Vending Machines will lead the end-to-end strategy and execution for vending machine operations across multiple sites in KSA. This includes overseeing daily operations, driving business development initiatives, expanding product range, and ensuring optimal maintenance standards. The role demands strong commercial acumen, operational excellence, and the ability to scale vending solutions aligned with Bindawood’s growth objectives.
Objectives of this Role- Establish and implement a comprehensive vending machine strategy across KSA.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative business development and partnerships.
- Develop and optimise product range to meet customer preferences and market trends.
- Ensure high operational standards and preventive maintenance across all sites.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day vending machine operations across multiple locations.
- Implement SOPs for cash handling, stock replenishment, and machine uptime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Build SOPs of sales Process, Distribution Expansion, setting of KPIs for the Sales Teams.
- Hire, train and develop team and lead people management activities
- Identify and secure new locations and partnerships for vending machine deployment.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to optimise cost and quality.
- Analyse market trends and customer behavior to drive growth strategies.
- Designs and executes Sales plan with the strategic intent to meet projected attendance, revenue and EBITDA goals
- Plan for the entire Vending channel and control/monitor the budget to ensure optimum allocation of resources
- Ensure marketing tools are provided to the trade to increase brand visibility and thereby achieve business objectives
- Create, develop, build and maintain relationships with partners to ensure that Channel objectives are met.
- Curate and expand product assortment to cater to diverse customer needs.
- Collaborate with procurement and marketing teams for pricing, promotions, and packaging.
- Evaluate customer feedback and adjust offerings to enhance satisfaction.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs.
- Manage vendor relationships for technical support and spare parts.
- Implement technology upgrades for improved efficiency and customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail operations, vending solutions, or FMCG.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in operational systems and data-driven decision-making.
