Shift: 1st Shift - no weekends
Work Schedule:
1st and 2nd shift with some weekends; schedule based on caseload.
- Works one-on-one with client(s).
- Implements a behavior modification treatment plan targeting recommendations from the psychological evaluation and developed by a senior level team member. Direction will determine the setting for implementation of the treatment plan based upon medical necessity.
- Utilizes prescribed interventions as needed when the child exhibits problematic behaviors in each particular setting. Targets child-specific antecedent, behavioral/teaching, consequent, reinforcement strategies, techniques and additional psychosocial rehabilitative activities as prescribed in the treatment plan.
- Implements and models intervention techniques for members of the treatment team to stabilize the child or adolescent, lending support for family efforts to stabilize the child or adolescent, by transferring appropriate techniques and skills, and to promote developmentally and/or age-appropriate behavior (e.g., to parents, guardians, caregivers, teachers, Personal Care Aide) for the transfer of skills which allows for successful discharge of services.
- Collaborates with all members of the treatment team and professionals working in the home or other community settings, including the family.
- Documents behavioral and program data during session, maintains progress notes for every billable contact or per regulatory and program requirements.
- Maintains contact with the case-specific treatment team.
- Submits payroll weekly or as directed by supervisor; includes all county specific paperwork required with weekly submission.
- Receives scheduled supervision from an assigned clinical supervisor.
- Attends training as required; attains required training hours per fiscal year.
- May perform other related duties, when required or assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to complete 40hr RBT Training prior to start date.
Preferred
- 2 years' experience providing behavioral health services (e.g., previous experience as a TSS/BHT with another agency).
- Completed 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training course.
- Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.

Behavior Health Technician will be working with 1st grade student in the school setting. Hours are 8:15am-2:15pm Monday-Friday with additional afternoon and evening hours possible in other locations.
