Job Title
Cold Press Crew (Food Services)
All employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture.) Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.
Responsibilities- Cold Press Crew must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Load and unload panels
- Make adjustments to machine as necessary
- Monitor glue spread on panels
- Ability to deal with glue
- Select and place cover boards for stacked panels
- Help with cleaning and setup of glue spreader at start and end of shift
- Ability to stack panels as they come off the press
- Learn Upright Panel Saw and Peel Coater
- Able to take measurements
- Attention to detail
- Lift up to 50 lbs maximum and up to 20 lbs regularly (Anything heavier requires assistance with lifting)
