Responsibilities
- Coordinate the completion of the daily work schedule through the appropriate work center(s)
- Track inventory where needed.
- Coordinate recuts where appropriate.
- Provide feedback to supervisors of the opportunities that exist that would prevent the completion of the daily schedule (i.e., parts outage, quality issues...).
- Keep the supervisor(s) updated on the status of the execution of the production schedule periodically throughout the day.
- Operation of machine sanders.
- Ability to comprehend and follow job safety guidelines
- Able to lift parts from floor to operating level frequently
- Skilled in the use of air-driven hand tools
- Understands/follows proper lockout procedures
- Able to perform preventative maintenance to machine, tools/equipment
- Able to read and understand appropriate shop documents.
- Able to use required gauges and measuring devices
- Able to use load-moving devices
- Ability to identify nonconformities
- Proven history or ability to demonstrate safe / responsible behavior, and a positive performance record (including attendance)
