What We Need:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst II to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings – Kimball International brand in Jasper, IN . This role supports North American supply chain operations by managing supplier performance, ensuring material availability, and resolving supply disruptions. The ideal candidate brings strong data analysis skills, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Experience supporting international supply chains and coordinating with suppliers across multiple time zones and cultures is highly valued.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and service expectations
- Analyze and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Lead and participate in structured problem-solving efforts using methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, RCI, and Kaizen
- Serve as the supply chain representative in cross-functional meetings, influencing alignment and decision-making
- Own the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process to drive timely resolution of supplier quality or delivery issues
- Coordinate supply transitions and part or supplier discontinuations in partnership with internal stakeholders to minimize disruption
- Create and manage purchase orders, track order status, and proactively address delivery issues, invoice exceptions, and supply disruptions
What You’re Good At:
- Advanced or strong working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Communicating clearly and effectively with suppliers, peers, and leadership
- Using data and critical thinking to identify root causes and recommend actionable solutions
- Collaborating across functions and building productive professional relationships
- Understanding how supply chain activities support broader organizational goals
- Leading or facilitating cross-functional and tiered meetings as a departmental representative
What You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience
