JOB DESCRIPTION: JUNIOR CREDIT ANALYST

Senior Credit Analyst

No supervisory responsibility

SUMMARY: Responsible for analyzing and monitoring the credit worthiness of the Bank's customers. Analyzes financial statements, tax returns and bank references to evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank.

• Obtains loan request information from lender or borrower to analyze credit information, financial statements and other related information pertaining to the loan.
• Reviews personal/business financial statements, and tax returns. Analyzes financial information and prepares the preliminary analysis for the lender.
• Prepares reports, summaries and opinions for financial institution officers on new, renewal and existing loans.
• Performs credit inquiries for financial institution as requested.
• Coordinates agenda and takes minutes for loan meetings
• Actively achieves individual sales, referral, operational, and community involvement goals.

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting
• 0-2 years of experience in financial services, lending, banking or related field

• Strong analytical skills with interest in credit, risk or financial analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Highly detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Environment.
