Member Assist Cart Attendant

Overview

Member Assist Cart Attendant at Sam's Club. Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr the role focuses on shaping the member’s shopping experience by delivering a positive first and last impression in daily operations.

• Ensure a well-kept parking lot and ready carts; assist members with their purchases and help load items into vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area; sweep and report unsafe conditions as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging members, answering questions, and guiding purchasing decisions.
• Process member purchases and payments according to company policies; utilize cash registers as required; locate and organize merchandise; zone designated areas; ensure availability of carts/flatbeds.
• Assist members with transporting items and use cart retrieval equipment per policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards; contribute to continuous improvement and adapt to change.

• Contact members when pickup times are delayed or items are unavailable; offer alternatives when needed and ensure items are prepared for pickup.
• Promote the company’s products and services and resolve member issues and concerns.
• Maintain safety of the facility by following procedures for handling merchandise and reporting unsafe situations to management.

• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment; capable multitasking with a strong focus on member satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset; ability to work quickly and accurately.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Terms subject to plan terms and eligibility. This is a part-time role at Sam’s Club.
