Shift: 11am-7pm Monday through Friday. On call weekend rotation, every 7 weeks.

Work Experience:

Produces two or three dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures for use by Physician in diagnosis of heart disease and study of heart by performing the following duties. May be required to work flexible hours. Participates in the on-call roster. Performs echo cardiographic examinations, assuming responsibilities for the quality of the examination and using clinical judgment to determine the need for additional testing protocols.

Assess, prepare and perform echo cardiographic examinations (M-mode, 2 or 3 dimensional Doppler, transesophageal and stress). Provide for emotional support, physical comfort and safety of patients and visitors. Maintains equipment and area in working condition.

Education:

Associate Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree, from an accredited program License: RDCS RCS

Certifications:

BLS/CPR Certification.
