Job Description:

Looking for an experienced Radiation Therapist for our Oncology team. Schedule will be 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Possesses core knowledge of required Radiation Therapist functions, including scheduling, simulation, patient set-up, and treatment.
• Demonstrates a functional knowledge of all major components of department equipment.
• Delivers external beam treatments in a timely fashion with high accuracy.
• Assesses and addresses patient's needs while under treatment.
• Practices appropriate Radiation Safety procedures.
• Accurate and timely completion of patient charts according to established standards and procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of standard and advanced treatment calculations and treatment plans.
• Designs and fabricates blocks accurately and efficiently.
• Performs Simulation with high degree of accuracy in a timely manner with little or no supervision.
• Utilizes appropriate scripting, barriers, and patient identifiers as required per position.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
• ARRT registration in radiation therapy required
• AHA BLS certification
