Responsibilities- Provides in-home and community behavioral services to patients with autism as directed in the treatment plan.
- Participates as a treatment team member by attending meetings, providing feedback about patient progress, and sharing impressions of patient status.
- Documents observations and care provided in the medical record.
- Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to the Program Supervisor and/or Qualified Supervising Provider.
- Participates in department and unit performance improvement activities.
- Maintains current de-escalation training and utilizes de-escalation techniques on a daily basis.
- Must complete 40 hours of specified orientation on autism and application of techniques.
- Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.
- Managing Threatening Confrontations Certified (on the job training) required within 90 days.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Have an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance when requested.
