Are you an Engineering Manager or Engineering Leader with a controls or automation background in manufacturing or production, looking for a role where you can lead high‑value engineering projects, influence plant strategy, and still stay technically close to the manufacturing floor?
Do you want to join a highly automated manufacturing facility in a position where you'll play a key role in developing processes, whilst also having a window to upskill on company specifics alongside the current Senior Manager ahead of their retirement?
This manufacturer is known for taking great care of their employees, with a reputation for quality, strong leadership tenure and a genuine family‑feel culture – not corporate, not political, and not hands‑off.
They are looking for someone who can lead engineers, drive automation and controls projects, and still enjoy being visible on the plant floor when required. In this role you will lead capital projects, continuous improvement initiatives, automation upgrades and process optimisation programs while maintaining a light hands‐on involvement around controls, troubleshooting, shutdown support, and system improvements.
Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity that offers leadership, further development and the chance to implement processes and improvements in a highly respected business.
