Introduction And What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)

This position is primarily responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of equipment on customers' sites, including CNG compressors, valve panels, dispensers and communication panels. Support customers and equipment by performing warranty repairs and service. Provide phone support and reply to e‑mail for service questions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical testing, mechanical testing, field service, repairs, retrofit work, and problem‑solving, applying root‑cause analysis to solve complex technical problems with a “safety first” mentality.
  • Operate on site and in an on‑call capacity, specializing in proprietary products.
  • Train customers on maintenance and troubleshooting as the subject‑matter expert.
  • Perform trial runs of the equipment.
  • Promote and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Prepare detailed paperwork properly and on time.
  • Analyze test results and report on them accordingly.
  • Perform weights and measures testing.
  • Run ANGI proprietary Series II and C‑Scape software properly.
  • Read and analyze prints/drawings to specification.
  • Use AX Dynamics to look up parts and inventory logs.
  • Travel as needed throughout North America.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
  • Associate’s degree from college or technical school; or at least 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Accountable for managing the safe and timely testing and start‑up of equipment.
  • Ability to achieve a high percent of customer acceptances at start‑up.
Essential
  • Mechanical, electrical and PLC skills.
  • Ariel training.
  • Ability to travel often.
  • Ability to commission, test and run CNG compressors, dispensers, dryers, MSPs and all panel types, and use technical gauges such as digital thermometers, vibration analyzers and fluke meters.
