Summary
Learning Tree is now hiring a cook who has previous experience in meal preparation for large groups, preschool/childcare experience preferred. Must be responsible, dependable, and enjoy working with a team.
Duties- Ensuring that all state and local health department, licensing, safety and nutritional requirements are met; following standards of personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation.
- Ability to read and understand recipes.
- Planning and preparing snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus and nutrition regulations.
- Ability to regularly and routinely lift and push at least 50 pounds.
- Being a team player.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of a background check required.
- Completion of annual food service certification.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to help in a classroom.
