Job Brief

We are looking for a dedicated, hands-on, and technically strong Plant Head to lead our brass inserts casting and foundry operations. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in furnace operations,  CCR (Continuous casting and rolling) plant management , and end-to-end foundry activities within a manufacturing/plant environment. Responsibilities

Lead and manage  foundry operations , including brass melting, furnace handling, die-casting, and machining activities.
Ensure smooth production and achieve daily and monthly output targets as per the production plan.
Oversee  furnace operations , ensuring optimum melting efficiency, temperature control, safety, and preventive maintenance.
Manage and monitor  CCR (Continuous casting and rolling) plant operations , ensuring continuous supervision of critical processes, equipment health, and plant performance.
Reduce downtime and improve equipment performance through proactive planning and monitoring.
Optimise processes to improve yield, reduce scrap generation, and maintain high recovery rates.
Ensure consistent casting quality, reduce rejections, and handle customer quality concerns effectively.
Support new product and sample development with timely approvals and smooth trial execution.
Monitor metal usage, costing, wastage levels, and overall material efficiency.
Lead, motivate, and guide teams across foundry, CCR  (Continuous casting and rolling) , furnace, and production areas to improve skills, productivity, and workforce discipline.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental norms, and quality standards across all operations.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 to 10+ years of experience in foundry, brass casting, or die-casting operations , with hands-on exposure to  furnace operations .
Proven experience in  CCR (Continuous casting and rolling) plant management , production supervision, and plant control systems.
Strong background in manufacturing/plant operations with knowledge of production planning, process optimisation, and quality systems.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in handling teams, solving problems, and achieving performance targets.
Hands-on experience with OEE, yield improvement, and cycle time optimisation will be an added advantage.
