Minimum of 1 year experience in ICU required.
License:
Active RN license required.
Certifications:
BLS required. ACLS required.
Must-Have:
Knowledge of cardiac-related medications and rhythm analysis.
Description:
Full-time position working 72 hours per two-week pay period.
Days of work are Sunday to Saturday on a day/night rotation.
Hours and days of work are variable.
Coordinates total nursing care for patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process.
Directs patient and family teaching.
Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Skills include telemetry, dressing changes, vents/BIPAP, and IV starts.
Equipment utilized in the unit includes computerized charting and medication systems.
Epic training, Omnicell, Liko and EZ lifts, Alaris IV pumps, and Nova Statstrip blood glucose systems are used.
Completion of a basic cardiology class for nurses and ACLS certification is required.
Will work 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation, including weekends.
1:1-3 nurse to patient ratio in ICU, depending on census and patient needs.
Dress code is black scrubs.
Flu shot is required.
