Overseeing/monitoring all Company owned, and Grower owned Potato Storages in order to attain best quality raw product for the Production plant.
Responsibilities
Potato Storage visits (company owned and third-party storage) and control settings documentation in order to ensure adherence to SQF/Food Safety.

Maintain a log of measurements such as ventilation system attributes/set points that are vital to the successful storage of raw potatoes. In addition to assuring storages are properly operated, maintain up to date inventory for raw remaining in all bins through physical pile measurements and follow up when delivering to the factory. Finally, maintain a complete list of quality attributes associated with each building/field and address any risks associated with raw inventory in a timely manner.
Raw Delivery planning in conjunction with Raw Supervisor and Production Manager:
Providing expertise and guidance in order to assist in the alignment of raw product and production needs. Oversite and operation of all harvest activities including hiring and maintenance planning.
Field monitoring throughout the growing season for determination of harvest dates for direct contracts. Involves following up on and verifying predicted harvest dates and identifying alternate solutions in the event of harvest delays
To maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and also assist other personnel as needed to maintain the same conditions in the yard, raw and storage buildings. To keep the Raw Procurement Manager informed of daily issues relating to the raw product. To attend and participate in meetings, training and continuing education programs internally or externally as deemed appropriate by management.
Qualifications
Associate degree (post-secondary)
2-4 Years in Plant Environment or Farm Operations
