Associate Attorney, Litigation

Overview

RealREPP, a full service commercial real estate recruiting firm, is partnering with a NATIONAL legal firm that specializes in Civil Litigation Defense and are seeking Associate Attorneys to work REMOTE in North Dakota. The ideal candidate has experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda, strong organizational skills, and is willing to take on a heavy workload. This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.

This opportunity offers an EXCELLENT base salary ($80,000 - $90,000, DOE) and the opportunity to work REMOTELY with a fantastic firm while appearing in local county courts as needed.

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda.
• Support civil litigation defense matters and consumer protection issues.
• Manage a heavy workload with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Appear in local county courts as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to address a range of legal issues.

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in NORTH DAKOTA (multi-state admission is a plus) and MUST reside within the state of North Dakota.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm in litigation.
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels.
• Strong legal research skills; proficiency in Lexis Nexis is a plus.
