Location: Jamestown, ND
Eventide Jamestown Care Center is hiring a Full‑time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work 64‑80 hours per pay period, mainly day shift (6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.). Every other weekend and holiday rotation are included. Shift differentials: $2 per hour for evening/overnight shifts and $2 per hour for weekend shifts. The base wage is competitive and is supplemented with paid time off and a comprehensive benefits package.
EssentialJob Functions
- Provide individualized attention that encourages each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
- Carry and follow each resident’s care plan at all times.
- Assist residents with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range‑of‑motion and any other tasks as indicated on the resident care plan.
- Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each resident, interacting with warmth and compassion.
- Follow policies and procedures related to the safety of residents, others, property, and yourself.
- Comply with rules and regulations set forth by the North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
- Fully understand residents’ rights, including the right to be free of restraints, abuse, and neglect, and promptly report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
- Promptly respond to residents’ call lights and alarms.
- May perform tasks such as checking vital signs, residents’ weights, and applying lotions, etc.
- Lift, move, and transport residents using a gait belt, one‑person or two‑person transfer, Hoyer lift, standing lift, etc., as identified by the care plan.
- Assist and escort residents to appointments and activities as needed.
- Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
- Follow proper safety and infection‑control procedures, including hand washing, glove use, and disposal of soiled materials.
- Assist with residents’ personal laundry as needed.
- Current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
