Housekeeper Shift - Jamestown Care Center

Overview

Eventide Care Center in Jamestown, ND is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to work 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Includes every-third-weekend rotation. The position performs housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe and clean environment for residents, families, and staff by following accepted policies and procedures as outlined by Eventide.

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas used by residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Perform cleaning procedures such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and walls, polishing, and scrubbing.
• Ensure all work areas and carts are kept safe, neat, and secure.
• Apply infection control and department/facility policies and procedures that directly affect housekeeping duties.
• Follow all safety rules when using equipment and chemicals; report unsafe work areas to a supervisor.
• Maintain a positive relationship with residents, families, and other staff.
• Restock housekeeping carts, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet tissue dispensers throughout the campus.
• Keep all equipment clean, locked as indicated, and in a safe manner, as work dictates.
• Assist with dining room cleanup as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16–$17.92 per hour for Housekeepers, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
