What You'll Do

Are you a passionate sales person who knows how to develop new business opportunities at the grassroots level in Team Sports? Are you hungry to blaze a trail for Wilson through the basketball and volleyball landscapes in Poland to make Every Court a Home Court?

This is an exciting opportunity, created from strong growth of the Wilson brand in Europe, as the Official Ball of the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NCAA, ACB, FIBA 3x3 and the Basketball Champions League. What a time to join the team as we drive the business around these global partnerships to reach more players on more courts, from youth to pro.

You will utilize these partnerships to manage a strong B2B wholesale business, whilst leading the development of new grassroots opportunities, by actively seeking and securing partnerships with Clubs and Federations throughout Poland.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet and exceed the annual sales plan and product category objectives for Team Sports in your defined territory
  • Identify and research new Institutional Partnership opportunities for brand suitability, and effectively track and manage through CRM tool
  • Evaluate and align internally on the commercial ROI, before delivering the proposal and closing the deal to secure official ball partnerships that deliver on objectives
  • Effectively communicate key brand and product stories, creating strong commercial plans and solution focused sales proposals to current and perspective retail partners
  • Drive market share growth of Basketball, Volleyball and American Football by selling-in the product range, setting sell-through activities and collaborating effectively with retail partners to maximize brand share of shelf
  • Work with the Sales Manager to develop the distribution strategy and range optimization for profitable growth
  • Provide feedback as the voice of the consumer and customer internally, specifically on range, channel design, competitor and commercial strategy
  • Forecast and plan sales in your territory to deliver excellent service levels and orderbook management

What We're Looking For

This role requires 4+ years of demonstrated B2B sales experience, executing the full sales cycle – prospecting, proposing, negotiating, and closing.

Other qualifications include:

  • Authentic knowledge and understanding of the basketball and/or volleyball landscape in Poland
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the hunger to deliver results
  • Curiosity to think differently and create new opportunities
  • Strong communicator, with excellent verbal and written Polish and English skills
  • Team player, able to work cross functionally and culturally with European and US colleagues
  • Experience managing budgets to deliver sales and margin targets
  • Clean Polish driving licence
