Client produces the best-selling iPad and iPhone app for pilots flying personal and business aircraft, corporate flight departments, and aircraft operators. Customers include individual pilots worldwide, Fortune 500 corporate flight departments, state and federal agencies, leading operators, the military, and leading aircraft OEMs. We have been in the App Store since its grand opening in July, 2008 and are consistently ranked in the top 50 grossing iPad apps in the App Store.

• Several back end components

• Communicative English (enough to work with US devs during knowledge transfer and depending on the product, product management)
• Engineering mindset and day-to-day partnership with automated test engineers
• Ability to learn new tools, methodologies, approaches, languages.
• Ability to use gen-ai tools in secure and self-aware, meaningful way (POCs, refactors, testing of your work, transitioning between technologies)
• Ability to take what's best from models and methodologies and merge into tailored solutions (context: we have just dropped SAFe, ceremonies and roles weren't really working out, but we still need an ability to plan our work ahead as we contribute to several different roadmaps)

• We operate with commercial aviation clients so there is expected stability and quality relatable to safety in the air

Client is looking for an iOS developer to join our Sync team. This person will help us build and maintain our client-side SDKs that handle storage and sync for our customer data. This position is for a technically well-rounded individual with experience building and shipping iOS apps.

We need you to have a solid understanding of systems design, clean APIs, Core Data, and concurrent code. Technically, you should be experience in Swift and Objective-C development, with a track record of shipping high quality code. Success includes someone that enjoys exploring new technologies in order to stay current, but balances the use of new and old to ensure that execution is priority.
