** What you’ll achieve
** As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

** You will:
*** Contribute to the development and architecture of our industry-leading modern storage platforms and take part in the full software development life cycle, including development, test, continuous delivery, and support
* Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all areas
* Implement features and test automation related to networking of storage systems
* Work on discovery task and proof of concepts around modern networking solutions
* Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security.

** Essential Requirements
*** 6 to 10  years of related experience in the following areas:
* Exceptional programming expertise, with a strong focus on Python or C
* Strong understanding of modern Linux, including the kernel, drivers, containers, early boot, and other low-level technologies
* Ability to write clean, testable code; familiarity with unit/integration/system testing and CI/CD
* Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from design to implementation
** Desirable Requirements
*** Familiarity and hands-on experience with Storage systems
* Knowledge about networking (ethernet, infiniband etc.)
* Capacity to achieve proficiency in new tools, languages and frameworks with training and on-the-job experience
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate in an Agile/ Scrum environment
