Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Forte Group is looking for a QA Automation Engineer. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing automated tests against the production API, web and native iOS and Android applications.
Responsibilities- Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new features, with an eye toward testability.
- Build an automated system for the primary application and correct any errors when implementing a solution.
- Write reports and documentation that explain the implementation and value to project stakeholders.
- Create, test and monitor automation systems.
- Partner with developers and business owners to triage and create defects.
- Perform smoke tests to ensure successful releases.
- Write detailed and easy to understand bug reports.
- Provide consistent communication regarding testing status to both the Engineering and Business teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of working as a QA automation engineer in an Agile working environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Experience using Java, TestNG, Maven, Appium and Allure frameworks.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors.
- Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing.
- Proven ability to create and execute a test plan.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Solid understanding of iOS native features.
