Senior Fullstack Developer; React&Python IRC

Description

Building the data exploration experience in Cognite Data Fusion. Searching and visualising industrial data, such as assets, time series, files, events, etc. We work closely with the backend team, building UIs on top of the data modeling services.

• Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on React and Typescript.
• Experience with Python.
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and Typescript.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Experience with building responsive web applications.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge about SPA (micro-frontend architecture).
• Experience with Playwright & RTL for testing.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in an agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in an English-speaking team.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, a natural science field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with UI component libraries.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Experience with performance optimization for frontend applications.
• Knowledge of industrial data or domain-specific documentation.
• Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Python, Kotlin).

• Design and implement elegant and intuitive user interfaces using React and Typescript.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services via APIs.
• Ensure the frontend application is performant, scalable, and maintainable, adhering to Cognite's SDLC and quality standards.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues.
