MeVitae is seeking a full‑time Algorithm Developer to join our development team. The role involves creating insights from data and building AI techniques, focusing on language modelling, predictive modelling, text mining, dimensionality reduction, numerical optimisation and advanced statistical techniques. Responsibilities include all aspects of design, development, and delivery of enabled solutions.

• C# and/or .Net coding, testing, deployment of proprietary web applications
• Identify and understand data sources within the MeVitae business, including structured, unstructured and Big Data
• Design and test algorithms for the automated scoring/shortlisting system
• Guide stakeholders across the group to implement new algorithms and methods based on your work by presenting findings in a clear and confident manner
• Write clean code for use by engineers and other analysts in the organisation
• Recommend and use a variety of tools to deliver analytics based on the data

• Interest or experience in information retrieval, natural language processing, machine learning or data mining
• Software development skills in one or more high‑level languages (C#, C, C++, Java, Python, Perl, Shell, R)
• Some SQL database experience would be beneficial
• Advanced conceptual, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities; especially applied to open‑ended problems
