Cloud Platform Engineer @ Veeam Software

The Core Platform Engineering team provides a secure, reliable and easy‑to‑use platform so our teams can build, test, deploy, and monitor the VDC product.

• Write and maintain code to automate public‑cloud infrastructure and the internal developer platform
• Document system design, configurations, processes, and decisions to support our asynchronous, distributed team culture
• Collaborate with a remote engineering team to build the VDC platform
• Work with a modern technology stack based on containers, serverless infrastructure, public‑cloud services, and other cutting‑edge technologies in the SaaS domain
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for product operations

• 3+ years of experience in production operations for a SaaS or cloud‑service provider
• Development skills in a high-level programming language such as Type Script or Python
• Experience automating infrastructure through code using tools such as Pulumi or Terraform
• Experience with Git Hub Actions
• Broad experience with public‑cloud services
• Experience building and supporting enterprise SaaS products
• Understanding of operational excellence principles in a SaaS environment
• Understanding and experience implementing secure design principles in the cloud
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and implement them pragmatically
• A strong bias toward action and direct, frequent communication
• A university degree in a technical field
