Tops Markets is accepting applications for current and future part-time openings. A brief description of each department is listed below. Tops has a history of promoting from within, and all full-time positions are posted internally first. A part-time position could lead to a long career if you possess the drive, motivation, and desire to help our customers.
When you complete the application, you can list two departments that interest you and/or select “any department” if you are willing to work anywhere in the store. • Front End: The final point of contact with our customers. As a cashier or cart clerk, your main responsibility is to make a positive, friendly, and lasting impression on our customers.
• Bakery: Slice, price, package, and display baked goods, ensuring products are stocked, rotated, and stored properly.
• Pharmacy: Assist in providing health-related services by retrieving medications, labeling, pricing prescriptions, entering data, maintaining records, and ensuring security of controlled substances.
• Deli/Carryout Cafe: Fulfill customer requests for deli and prepared foods, slice deli meats/cheeses, prepare and display products, ensuring proper storage and rotation.
• General Merchandise: Stock shelves, create and maintain displays, organize the backroom, and include items like first aid, non-food, and seasonal products.
• Grocery: Stock shelves, create displays, and organize the backroom for efficient store operation.
• Meat: Stock, store, rotate, weigh, label, and prepare meat products, including processing and cutting if certified.
• Produce: Stock, store, water, process, wrap, and package produce, and fulfill customer orders for fruit or vegetable platters.
• Seafood: Stock, store, rotate, weigh, label, and display seafood, and assist customers with seafood questions and requests.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.
