We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality throughout the development and manufacturing lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and suppliers, to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Planning
- Define product quality objectives, Quality Control Plans (QCP), and inspection standards.
- Develop and deliver required documentation, including APQP and PPAP.
- Promote company development processes (e.g., IPD, APQP) within R&D teams.
- Organize training sessions and monitor implementation effectiveness.
- Lead Technical Review (TR) milestones to ensure compliance of design, verification, and test reports.
- Provide clear review conclusions and follow up on actions.
- Conduct audits during development, trial production, and mass production phases.
- Identify deviations, issue early warnings, and drive corrective actions to closure.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation
- Utilize quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA) to identify design and process risks.
- Maintain a risk register and track mitigation measures.
- Lead 8D analysis for major quality issues and customer complaints.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to define and validate long‑term corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality monthly reports to LPDT/PAC or management.
- Support new supplier audits and address incoming material quality issues.
- Drive suppliers to complete 8D reports and PPAP approval.
- Host customer quality audits and provide relevant quality data and evidence of improvement.
- Maintain positive customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct post‑project quality reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices.
- Update company processes, checklists, and quality documentation accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Practical experience in quality management within a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Basic proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Familiarity with quality standards and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in customer and supplier interaction is a plus.
