Forklift Operator; 1st Shift

Long term temporary opening with a local manufacturer for a Forklift Operator with at least two (2) years of experience. The pay rate is $19/hr. and the successful candidate must be able to:

• Work 1st shift:
  Monday-Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm & Fridays 5:00am - 1:00pm + mandatory overtime when available
• Safely and efficiently operate forklift in order to load and unload product as well as move product from one area to another
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory tracking/order fulfillment
• Work closely with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Proven experience, at least two (2) years in forklift operation, along with experience in materials handling, inventory management and trailer unloading
• Familiarity with distribution center operations and warehouse management systems/good computer skills
• Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Experience in shipping and receiving, as well as order picking
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform heavy lifting as required
• Ability to work productively alone but still communicate clearly with production team when necessary
