Production Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our Operations Department at Huber+Suhner Polatis.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and timely delivery of products. You will lead a team of professionals, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support our operational and strategic goals.
Responsibilites:- Develop and implement production strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze production KPIs and implement performance improvements.
- Manage and develop the production team, including Shift Supervisors.
- Oversee quality control to ensure products meet company standards.
- Plan and manage the production budget, including cost analysis and investment planning.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Department to ensure material availability.
- Lead and support the implementation of production systems (e.g., MES).
- Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
- Act as deputy to the Operations Director when required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment (preferably in electronics).
- Higher technical education in electronics, automation, or optics.
- Hands‑on experience with advanced technologies and production automation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CE, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001).
- Proven project management experience in production environments.
- Proficiency in LEAN tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in international work environments.
- Familiarity with Polish industrial safety regulations and ergonomic principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
