Operations Manager, General Management
Team Rubicon’s Field Leadership Team is a group of members selected to be responsible for two things; serve in or train members for Command and General Staff positions, and coach and mentor leaders to ensure our operational culture and leadership style remain consistent by utilizing the Incident Command System tailored for Team Rubicon operations.
Field Leadership members are expected to be experienced and confident in their Command & General Staff role and ready to take on mentoring members in a specific skill set or coaching a Command and General Staff team to be more successful managing operations. They will have direct influence on the quality of a member's experience and a safe, efficient response to disasters.
We seek highly skilled practitioners who have demonstrated strong leadership on other operations to form teams of emotionally intelligent, disciplined, professional, and credentialed members to set the example and build Command and General Staff capacity in the regions and the organization. Field Leadership Team members are expected to deploy on short notice for up to two weeks at a time. The schedule is flexible but increased availability is a must during busy deployment seasons.
Field Leadership members are compensated for hours worked on deployment and benefits commensurate with employment status.

TR has a unique culture that requires individuals foolish enough to think they can change the world, and smart enough to have a chance. Every day is a challenge, but every month brings new opportunities for an organization that is quickly becoming a household name in disaster response and Veteran reintegration. Candidates for the position are required to balance a team-player attitude with a strong command presence.
Only the most awesome candidates should apply. Period.
