Solution Architect Consultant

We’re looking for a Senior-level Solution Architect to support our sales team during their work with prospects who confirmed their interest in doing business with Forte. You’re expected to support the technology stream of the sales process, with the ultimate goal of converting qualified prospects into Forte clients.

• Participate as SME: Join discovery calls with prospective clients to provide technical credibility, answer complex architectural questions, and assess feasibility in real-time
• Analyze Requirements: Review the client’s input, ask clarifying questions, identify technical risks and missing requirements, and address everything else necessary to design, propose, and justify high-level solutions, so clients can remove any doubts that Forte properly understands their needs and can deliver
• Support Proposals: Produce high-level architecture diagrams, technology stack recommendations, and written technical content to be included into the final Proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Estimate: Collaborate with the delivery teams to estimate effort and resources required for the solution development

• Participate in cold calls, initial contacts, marketing campaigns, and general sales activities. You will be invited once we confirm that the potential client has a qualified interest and the ability to work with Forte

This role is part-time, hourly-based.

We will engage you where your skills, qualification and domain expertise match the client’s needs. We’re building a narrow pool of trusted Architects with diverse expertise (Mobile, Data, Security, etc.) with whom we maintain long-term relationships that could lead to full-time jobs in the future.

• Enterprise tech stack: Extensive experience designing scalable enterprise-grade applications using Content Delivery Networks, Enterprise Service Bus, SQL/No
  
  SQL Databases, Identity Providers
• Cloud and On-Prem: Extensive experience designing enterprise-grade applications hosted in top cloud service providers, AWS, Azure, GCP, as well as on-prem
• Architecture Patterns: Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and performant architectures using Microservices vs. Monolith, Serverless, and Headless CMS

  Proven experience scoping projects, writing technical proposals, or acting as a solutions consultant is highly preferred
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
