We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our product and engineering organization. In this role, you will ensure the quality, usability, and reliability of complex assessment applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to execute comprehensive manual testing, surface defects early, and support smooth, high-quality product releases.

• Design, execute, and maintain detailed manual test cases based on product requirements and user stories
• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke testing across web applications and APIs
• Validate edge cases, business logic, and user flows with a focus on real-world usage scenarios
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
• Contribute to QA documentation, test plans, and quality standards
• Support release cycles through pre-release validation and post-release verification

• 4+ years of experience in manual QA for web-based products
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices
• Hands-on experience testing modern frontend applications and backend APIs
• Experience validating Angular-based applications and Node.js APIs
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
• Strong attention to detail with sensitivity to UI/UX consistency and usability issues
• Ability to identify edge cases, negative flows, and data integrity issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable in remote-first environments

• Experience testing SaaS or AI-driven software
• Familiarity with performance testing methodologies
• Background in ed-tech or assessment-related systems
