Linux Administrator - Camunda

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing our critical application infrastructure. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of our Linux‑based application servers and infrastructure. You'll work independently on complex operational and development activities while contributing to strategic planning and team development.

• Infrastructure Management
  • Install and configure software and hardware systems
  • Manage network servers and technological tools
  • Set up and maintain user accounts and access controls
  • Monitor system performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Operations & Maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues to ensure operational availability
  • Ensure security through access control management, backups, and other protective measures
  • Participate in resolving operational problems
  • Monitor performance and operational availability while maintaining security standards
• Development & Strategic Planning
  • Plan, test, and implement upgrades, fixes, patches, and new versions
  • Develop and maintain documentation for procedures, processes, standards, and environment status
  • Analyze needs, propose and implement new solutions in alignment with strategy
  • Contribute to strategy development in the assigned area
  • Provide professional supervision and coordination for less experienced colleagues
  • Bring initiatives for future development formulation and participate in strategy development

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Unix/Linux administration and application server management
• Proven knowledge of operating and managing JBoss EAP, Kafka, Camunda, Elastic, and related technologies on RHEL and K8s platforms
• Experience with mass operation of Linux servers

• Knowledge of Red Hat and VMware technologies (Ansible, RH Satellite, Git, K8s, Argo CD, VMware vSphere) – advantage
• Understanding of automation and scripting methodologies

• English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation comprehension and support communication
• Czech language fluency required
