SAP Basis Delivery Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Engineer to support the stable operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of complex SAP landscapes, with a strong focus on SAP HCM / HXM systems.

• Support SAP Basis operations across ECC, S/4
  
  HANA, and SAP HCM landscapes
• Ensure system availability, performance, security, and compliance
• Provide L3 technical support for Incident, Problem, Change, and Operations management

• Ensure stable operation of SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, PY, TM, ESS/MSS)
• Support payroll‑critical activities, cutovers, parallel runs, and go‑live readiness
• Perform system monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization
• Support legal changes, payroll updates, and year‑end activities

• Participate in SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning
• Execute SAP kernel upgrades, SPS and EHP patching
• Perform system copies, client copies, and DB refreshes (with HCM data protection considerations)
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures

• Contribute to SAP HCM migrations, including ECC HCM on AnyDB → SAP HANA
• Support preparation for S/4
  
  HANA HCM carve‑outs or hybrid scenarios

• Work closely with internal teams and external providers
• Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Hands‑on experience in SAP Basis, including SAP HCM / HXM environments
• Experience supporting mission‑critical SAP systems
• Strong understanding of SAP operations, lifecycle management, and migrations
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Fluent English communication skills
